Challenge
In 2018, Dell undertook a lengthy business and technical strategy effort to reinvent the world of IT pros in the realm of managing devices, apps and content in a secure, multi-platform manner. This project is heavily focused on design thinking, strategic design and rapid iteration of concepts.
Role
As the Experience Lead, I was responsible for creating an experience model and future looking experience design for both IT Pros and the end-users in large enterprises deploying this solutions. I worked hand in hand with marketing, planning, engineering and user research to form this experience vision for the Modern Work initiative.
Approach
This project utilized a full spectrum agile, design thinking approach. Workshopping with subject matter experts led to initial sketches and concepts, which were iterated and evolved as the strategy and offshoot projects emerged.
Results
Dell created the Modern Client Solutions Group dedicated to operationalizing key aspects of the Modern Work experience strategy.
